Four facts in. A ranked shortlist out. Every lender is checked rule by rule against its own published criteria, with the source and the date on every figure.

Where a lender hasn't published it, we say so. We never guess.

Opening soon. Register now and we'll email you the day your trial can start. A card is needed to start the 14-day trial. Nothing is charged until it ends.

A lender only counts once we've checked one of its products against an official page. Names we haven't read yet stay off the count.

    How it works

From four facts to a shortlist you can stand behind.

    1. Step 1

      Four facts

Category, amount, value and borrower type. Your first shortlist appears straight away.

    2. Step 2

Only the questions this case needs

Buy-to-let asks about interest cover. Second charge asks for the balance on the first charge. A business loan doesn't ask for the age of a building.

    3. Step 3

      A ranked shortlist, with reasons

Strong, Possible or Unlikely, with one line on why. Open any lender to see every rule: passed, failed or not published, with the source and the date.

    On your desk

When the client asks "why that lender?", the answer's already on the page.

    Rule by rule

Each published limit is checked on its own. One clear fail and the lender drops to Unlikely. If a figure that matters isn't published, it can't be Strong.

Source and date on every figure

See where each number came from and when it was read. A "from" rate stays a starting point. If two official pages disagree, you see both, and neither is treated as a hard rule.

    Know when your lenders change

Save a search from the results. When a lender on it has an accepted criteria change, you get an alert. Open the search again to see the new order.

    Side by side

Compare two to four lenders from the same search. Your shortlist order stays put. The comparison helps you read the detail. It isn't a recommendation.

    Reports in your firm's name

Send the client the case, the shortlist and the reasons as a PDF. Professional and Enterprise add your firm's branding.

    Wherever you work

In the browser, installed on your phone, or as a desktop app, all on one login. Enterprise adds full white label, including your firm's own domain.

    Re-read every day

Every source is re-read on a daily schedule. A changed figure is flagged and checked again before it's used. A page that has moved or gone is flagged too.

3 verified products ready to match

    Panel membership

Filter by Fiducia or NACFB. It won't change the order.

Panel membership comes from the public lists. Use it to narrow the directory. It never moves a lender up your shortlist.

38 lenders on the Fiducia list. 108 on the NACFB list. A lender that has stopped lending stays off the shortlist.

    The usual way vs LenderRoute

The same case. Without the ring-round.

Most brokers source with a mix of a spreadsheet, a folder of criteria PDFs, a phone full of BDMs and a general search tool. It works, but every case costs you time before you know who'll look at it. Here's the difference, question by question.

"The usual way" describes common broker practice, not any particular product. LenderRoute shows a criteria fit. It doesn't issue DIPs, it isn't a CRM, and it doesn't replace a good BDM. It tells you which ones to call.

    Your criteria, verified

Submit criteria through the lender portal. A verified badge appears once a figure can be checked against a single official source.

    Demand, anonymised

See demand by category once there are enough cases to protect brokers' privacy. Individual cases are never shown.

Advertising, labelled and outside the list

Placements are approved, marked "Sponsored" and sit beside the results, never inside them.

    Ranking is never paid

Fees, campaigns and referrals never decide who is Strong, Possible or Unlikely, or the order of the shortlist.

    Questions

    Straight answers.

Is a Strong result an approval?

No. Strong means every critical published rule we checked has passed. It isn't an offer, a quote or a decision in principle. LenderRoute is not FCA-approved and doesn't make lending decisions.

Can a lender pay to rank higher?

No. Advertising is labelled and sits outside the results. Fees and referrals are disclosed beside a lender and are excluded from the score.

Where does the criteria come from?

Each lender's own public website and published documents. We don't use broker-only portals. Every figure shows its source and the date we read it.

    How current is it?

Every figure carries the date it was last read, so you can judge it for yourself. When a published figure changes, it's flagged and checked again before it's used.

    Does it replace my BDMs?

No. A good BDM is still the person for a judgement call. LenderRoute tells you which lenders are worth that call, and why.

    What does the counter count?

Verified lenders and verified products only, plus the categories that have at least one verified product. A lender we haven't read yet isn't counted.

    What does the trial include?

Fourteen days on the plan you choose. A card is needed to start the trial, and nothing is charged until it ends. We'll email a reminder before the trial ends. If you registered before launch, we'll email your login details the day the trial can start.

    Do you publish customer quotes?

Not yet. We won't put a firm's name or a quote on this site until they've agreed in writing.
